It requests information, hears your company or announces a fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:1.5rem\">What matters now<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First clarify which proceedings you are in: in supervisory proceedings there are duties to cooperate and provide information; in administrative fine proceedings other rules apply.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Meet the deadlines set or ask for an extension in good time.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Answers should be factual, complete to the extent of the obligation and no broader than necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Investigate the matter internally and remedy it where necessary; this also affects any fine.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Involve the data protection officer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:1.5rem\">Documents I need<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the authority\u2019s letter with the date of receipt<\/li>\n\n\n<li>the complaint, if known<\/li>\n\n\n<li>record of processing activities, privacy notices, contracts with service providers<\/li>\n\n\n<li>documentation on the incident and on measures already taken<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:1.5rem\">Next steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Send me the documents by email to <a href=\"mailto:kanzlei@bauer.legal\">kanzlei@bauer.legal<\/a> or use the <a href=\"https:\/\/bauer.legal\/en\/submit-appointment-request\/\">appointment request<\/a>, and mention any deadline that is running.
